THE INTERNAL BECOMES EXTERNAL
The Internal becomes External In the spirit of celebrating fresh starts and the turning of the new year. Inside they are The External / Internal, but outside they're a little different. A series of one off finished for The External / Internal. Last year I spent a calendar month with my daughter whilst she was off sick from kindergarten. In search of creativity and exploration during some of the worst and dreariest weeks of weather, we drew together every day - sometimes colourful, sometimes ecstatic and carefree, sometimes with the utmost attention to detail. I loved watching her be creative in such a naive and unrestricted way that we often forget how to do as adults. The images and patterns that appear on these units are some of my favourite of the many 100's of pictures we feverishly drew that month. They will never be repeated on an enclosure again and may not happen again for quite a while.

This is a weird, noisy pedal. It’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing - a wicked, unruly beast briefly contented between fits of uncontrollable emotional rage. It’s equally beautiful and sensitive as it is excessive and rowdy. It’s a delay and a chorus, nor really is it either, with a permanent noise floor, dirt, humanity, it modulates itself based on the strength of the affected signal, it becomes unpredictable.
